Vieux Carre
Ingredients
- 30 mL rye whiskey | (1 oz)
- 30 mL cognac | (1 oz)
- 22.5 mL sweet vermouth | (0.75 oz)
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 7.5 mL benedictine | (1.5 tsp)
- cocktail cherry
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass and fill with ice; stir well for 20 seconds and strain into a chilled old fashioned glass. Garnish with a cherry.
