Old Fashioned
Ingredients
- 60 mL rye whiskey | (2 oz)
- 5 mL [rich Demerara gum syrup](/recipes/rich-demerara-gum-syrup) | (1 tsp)
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 drops [saline](/recipes/saline)
- grapefruit (or orange) peel
Instructions
- Stir all the ingredients over ice, then strain into a chilled Old-Fashioned glass. Express the orange peel over the drink, and place it into the drink.
